Ryan Ogliore received his Ph.D. in 2007 from the California Institute of Technology. His past research includes the study of galactic cosmic rays and solar energetic particles.
Ryan’s current research interests include the analysis of samples from NASA’s Stardust mission to comet Wild 2, surface regolith of asteroids Itokawa, Bennu, and Ryugu, and the Genesis solar wind samples, in order to learn about the formation and evolution of the Solar System. He is also interested in future sample return missions, particularly from Jupiter’s volcanic moon, Io.
